Made from 2021 Shiraz from our Aussie family’s Kuitpo vineyard, picked early [around 8-9 baumé] for zesty acidity and lower natural alcohol. Carbonic maceration ferment, followed by ripasso re-ferment with some water and ripe skins from another block down the road, making a wine-piquette combo that clocks in at 9% ABV.

Deep crimson in colour with lots of black pepper and purple fruit characters, and hints of vanilla and cured meat, while also being a fresher, vibrant, ‘nouveau’ style with minimal oak influence.
